Hello!

Hi there! I am Liz :)

My degree is BSc Chemistry with Biomolecular Science which I achieved a 2:I in, I then went on to work in the analytical chemistry industry for a few years before I decided to train to be a teacher back in 2016. I gained my PGCE from the University of Bedfordshire in Secondary Science with Chemistry and then completed my QTS. I then trained to be a Physics specialist and I have been teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics in various Secondary Schools since. I have examiner experience of IELTS exams and AQA GCSE science and I am also an examiner, moderator and content creator for OCR Science technical. 

Before I was a teacher, I volunteered as a STEM ambassador and with the Royal Society of Chemistry doing lots of outreach, so I know all the secrets to making science fun! I can tutor all three sciences for primary school up to GCSE level and can also tutor A levels in Chemistry and Biology, in addition to adult learners.
